Routine after each use
Let the cabin cool, remove towels, wipe perspiration with a clean damp cloth if the manual permits, and leave it open to dry. The goal is prevention; saturated wood is harder to clean without changing its color or texture.
Avoid household-cleaner improvisation
Strong fragrance, bleach, ammonia, solvents, wax, and unapproved oils may discolor wood, leave residues that heat later, or affect heater components. Use the manufacturer’s care instructions. Apply cleaner to a cloth, not toward electrical parts.
Treat stains gently
For persistent marks, the manufacturer may allow light sanding with fine-grit paper along the grain. Test a hidden area and remove dust completely. Never sand heater surfaces, wiring covers, labels, glass edges, or finished electronic panels.
