The label matters more than the plug shape

Check the sauna nameplate and installation manual before looking at the wall outlet. A plug may physically fit while the branch circuit is shared with lights, a freezer, gym equipment, or another high-draw appliance. 120V/15A and 120V/20A are not interchangeable labels

A 15A receptacle usually has two parallel vertical slots. A 20A receptacle normally adds a T-shaped slot. Do not use an adapter to make a 20A sauna fit a 15A receptacle, and do not replace a receptacle without confirming the circuit wiring and breaker with a qualified electrician.
